– The new Specialized Diverge is the road bike that doesn’t necessarily require a road… In fact, this sleek machine thrives when the pavement ends.
The Diverge Comp Carbon was built using Specialized FACT 10r carbon and their Endurance Geometry that has been optimized for comfort during extended rides over varying terrain. Everything about this bike was carefully engineered to provide the rider with a unique combination of efficiency, versatility, and capability.
At first glance, you’ll notice the hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear thru-axles, and generous tire clearance… not exactly standard road bike equipment, but definitely evidence that the Diverge isn’t your standard, run-of-the-mill roadie. The Zertz inserts that are incorporated into the fork and seatstays and CG-R seatpost add to the comfort and compliance of the Diverge Comp Carbon, while the Shimano 105 drivetrain and tuned frame and fork keep it precise and responsive when taking on terrain that would cause lesser road bikes to hit the brakes.
If you’re looking to hit the “road” in the Yampa Valley, Ski Haus is on the way to where you’re going!
