Women's Footwear at Ski Haus Perfect For Any Day And Activity
Ski Haus has a terrific selection of women’s footwear. The mountain lifestyle requires a few shoes considering each day could be filled with hiking, biking, running, camping, fishing, walking, and maybe even a little work at the office!
The shoes that Ski Haus stocks for women reflects this active lifestyle. Plus, our selection considers the wild mountain weather and how each day is so different from one to the next. For instance, you might be hiking muddy mountain trails Tuesday and hopscotching slickrock in the high dessert Wednesday. Having the right footwear makes all the difference.
Here are a few highlights from our inventory but these select shoes are only a few of the choices we offer. You’ll want to stop in Ski Haus and take a look at our entire selection.
Footwear for the River, Tubing, Rafting, Fishing
The Salomon Tech Amphibian ($110) is our choice when you know water will be part of your day. Wear this shoe as a slip-on or shoe depending on what you’re doing. The grippy contagrip sole will give you confidence to hop rocks along the river or walk the trail on the approach. The quicklace is easy to adjust and the protective toe cap prevents the predictable stub here and there. Additionally, the upper breathable mesh lets water out, dries quick, and keeps the pebbles out!
Saucony Exodus ISO 3 ($150) is one of our favs for moving fast up or down mountain trails. The external support and wrap to hold your foot in place is one of the first things we noticed about this shoe. The second thing is the amazing tread pattern. Let’s see – holds your foot nicely and great traction? Sounds like a great trail running shoe. The Exodus ISO 3 offers the perfect amount of cushion without feeling spongy.
Ahnu SugarPine 2 ($120) is a wonderful light hiker with a nice touch of fashion savvy. This shoe walks, hikes and looks equally good whether you’re in town or on the trail. Light breathable mesh for keeping you cool mixed with waterproof leather overlays for support and durability make this shoe quite versatile. A great value!
Casual / Around Town / Travel
Taos Moc Star ($90) will have your foot wrapped in fun. Canvas shoes are ideal for around town, casual work style, or comfortable on-the-go travel shoes. Step up from your white canvas shoes to a canvas shoe with fun colors to match your daily outlook. We are really big fans of Taos footwear!
Who doesn’t love the warm temperatures of summer? Well, maybe your feet. Sandals are the best way to protect your toes and keep your summer cool. The Teva Original ($50) holds a special place in our line-up this year. This year’s Teva Original strap design is inspired by colors of the canyon. This sandal is part of a special collection that celebrates the Grand Canyon’s 100th year as a National Park.
Scarpa ZG Trek GTX ($230) is perfect boot when you need the extra support carrying a big pack, topping a 14er, or if ankles require just a little more protection. We feel this boot offers superior support and protection from ankle twists while still being light feeling on your feet. On trail or off – the Vibram sole offers secure traction, GoreTex provides the ability to hike on any trail in any weather condition, and the lacing lets you customize your preferred fit. Win. Win. Win.
Ski Haus offers women’s bike shoes, too. From flat pedals to clipless and mountain trails to wonky gravel roads to pristine tarmac, Ski Haus has a bike shoe to fit and perform all your riding styles. Try on the Giro Riddance ($130), Specialized Tahoe ($90), or the Specialized Torch 2.0 ($150). Bike shoes offer great pedaling efficiency and power. If you haven’t tried a designed bike shoe now is the time… before your next ride!
