The Final Event of the 2020 Pleasant Valley Race Ride Tour
The Catamount XC Sprint Marathon is the last event scheduled for the 2020 Pleasant Valley Race Ride Tour. Sunday, February 23, 2020 Ski Haus and Catamount Nordic Center will be hosting this cross country ski racing and touring event. This Race/Tour is open to both skate and classic skiing styles, all abilities and all ages are welcome. Start time is 10:00 am.
How to Register
You may pre-register at Ski Haus or online at webscorer.com. Adults are $15 and kids 12 years old and younger enter for free! Same day registration is $25 for all ages. Your entry includes a really fun Pleasant Valley Race Ride Tour t-shirt, post race refreshments, 28k aid station, and one really fun morning of cross country ski racing or touring. Course Distances
There are several distances to choose. 2k, 5k, 7k, 14k and 28k distances. Participation is key. Of course, racers will show up and give it there all but know that every cross country skier is welcome.
We love to see families sign up and ski their chosen distance together at their own pace. It’s great to see the youngest of skiers rally on the 2k course. And best of all, we revel in the experience of cross country skiers coming together and having fun no matter their age or ability. Participate in the XC Sprint Marathon. Don’t spectate!
Parking
The XC Sprint Marathon takes place at the Catamount Touring Center on County Road 18 at Lake Catamount. Please park at the Outfitter Cabin, check in, receive your bib and t-shirt*, and ski the short distance to the start line. Please don’t park on County Road 18 at the start.
We named the Pleasant Valley Race Ride Tour with the thought that everyone is invited. Come race. Come tour! Come have a fun time!
