More Than Capable. Downright Fun!

– Watching Wade Simmons shred the new Pipeline from Rocky Mountain is enough to make you want to buy one… and even if you aren’t in the market for a sweet new trail bike, you should take a moment to watch ‘Dumbing Down the Shore’, a new video showcasing the capability of Rocky Mountain’s latest trail rig.

The Pipeline is an aggressive machine, but with a certain refinement that is rare from other manufacturers. It boasts a plush 150mm of travel in the front and 130mm in the rear. The confidence that comes from its plus-sized tires is evident in raw, technical descents while providing insane traction on rocky, slippery climbs.

The Pipeline features Rocky Mountain’s Smoothwall Carbon C13 front triangle which uses one of the world’s most sophisticated carbon processes to deliver industry leading stiffness-to-weight, ride quality, and durability. They eliminate excess resin and fibers by using rigid internal molds instead of traditional air bladders. They then utilize different types of carbon in specific frame areas to maximize stiffness and impact resistance while minimizing overall weight. Also unique to Rocky’s construction is their Ride-9 adjustment system… This allows the rider to quickly fine-tune the Pipeline’s geometry and suspension with nothing more than a couple allen wrenches. There are nine different configurations possible (thus the name) thanks to two interlocking chips.

The new Pipeline is available with two different parts packages, the 750 MSL ($3,999) and the 770 MSL ($4,799).

Wade Simmons is often referred to as the Godfather of Freeride… It stands to reason that if the new Pipeline is good enough for the Godfather, then most of us should find it to be a worthy tool for our adventures on the trail!

The Pipeline 770 MSL is in stock now at Ski Haus for both purchase and demo. Shred before you spend!
