You can take pride in the practice of traveling through pristine alpine meadows, or deserts, or on ocean beaches without a trace of your passing.

It’s the simple things that can make a difference like not cutting switchbacks on trails, not breaking or sawing branches off trees to make a fire, not trashing wilderness areas with toilet paper, or washing your camp dishes in streams and lakes.

It’s the simple things that will make the difference in keeping our public lands in good shape and a pleasure to visit.
