Design is in the Details –
The Burton Anti-Social Splitboard was thoughtfully designed from the ground up with input from their women’s team riders.
Burton believes that it’s important to build equipment with the intended user in mind… Makes sense, right? It seems obvious, but there are still well-known snowboard companies that are guilty of “shrinking and pinking.”
In other words, some companies simply take an existing board design, make it softer, make it in a smaller size, paint it a pretty color, and call it “women’s specific”. Burton was one of the first to build snowboard equipment that was designed based on the anatomical differences between men and women, and that tradition continues with the women’s Anti-Social Split.
The Anti-Social features a lightweight design and a progressive, tapered shape. It boasts a directional camber bend profile for fast, effortless float in deep snow and a smoother uphill glide when gaining vertical in the skintrack. Burton uses their Channel mounting system with specially designed Voile pucks making easy work of setting-up and adjusting your stance (historically not a simple task on a splitboard)!
If you’re an accomplished female rider looking for a mechanism to earn your turns (and extra smiles), the ‘Haus has what you crave! We also offer the Anti-Social Split for demo so you can try before you buy.
