Great Performance in a Little Package
– To pick up and try on the Vasque Inhaler II GTX hiking boots you might think there isn’t much to these boots. Even when you try them on you still may not be convinced this is enough boot for you. But now is a good time to listen to your feet.
Both feet will be saying, dang, these boots are comfortable. And, holy cow, step up on this rock and the traction is second to none. “I’ll take ’em!” is what your left and right sides of your brain will say when they listen to your left and right feet. Get your left and right hands to take these boots up to the counter to pay for them…
The Vasque Inhaler II GoreTex boots are nice and light. One of the first things you’ll notice is how the tops of the boots feel like a running shoe. Flex the sole and it rolls forward easily. There really isn’t a break-in period. Pack up. Load up. And go.
The mid cut of this boot will protect your ankle bones from the inadvertent clip against sandstone or granite. The upper is cut from 1.6 waterproof leather and abrasion resistant 3D mesh that will give these boots long life and durability. The toe and heel counters are TPR molded for ankle and toe protection and they are perforated (crazy looking but effective) for increased breathability. The front and back of the Inhaler boots offer expansive air-mesh panels to reduce heat inside the boot as your hoofin’ it up the trail.
The sole sports a Vibram Pneumatic sole with an aggressive lug pattern and molded in Megagrip rubber. Megagrip will hold you in place whether you’re hiking gritty red rock or wet alpine granite.
A lightweight, low profile EVA midsole with TPU instep shank is a performance-cushioning platform with just the right amount of stability for moving fast on the trail.
I have a pretty average foot – not too narrow and not too wide. I wear a pretty consistent size 11 and these boots run true to size.
The Vasque Inhaler II GTX boots are nice and light for traveling nice and light on or off the trail. Come give them a fit at Ski Haus and see what your feet say. Bet they say “time to hit the trail!”
For adventurous women and men.
