There are some places that are so special they need to be discovered on your own. A hidden trail, a secluded campsite, or even a small lake nestled in the sky revealed by an overheard conversation or directions given by a friend aren't the same places as when you find them on your own. Such places shouldn't be revealed to the rest of world flippantly. They need protecting not only for their sense of place but also for the emotion of discovery. Go explore.
