The 31st Annual West Yellowstone Rendezvous happend this past weekend. Over 650 Nordic racers entered the Classic and Freestyle event. The image above is the start of the 25k Classic Race. The forecast had predicted nice cold temperatures (8 degrees) for the start. The actual start temp was a balmy 28 degrees leaving many skiers scrambling to adjust their kick wax. The Rendezvous course is fantastic and they lay down a world class track. If you love to Nordic ski you should try and attend next year's race!
