Olympic Heros: Billy Demong and Johnny Spillane, on their way to Gold and Silver Medals in the individual long hill Nordic Combined event. Winter Olympics 2010. No USA Nordic Combined team member had won an Olympic medal until Johnny Spillane's Silver Medal a few days earlier. And then the team won Silver in the team event and then Billy and Johnny won Gold and Silver in this event. Talk about a dominant performance! Johnny and fellow team member Todd Lodwick live here in Steamboat Springs. Billy Demong lived and trained here a few years ago but now lives in Park City, Utah. He still feels like a native son...
